On these courses students can explore sources of inspiration including the history of bag styles, leading to the development of their own design ideas. Students learn about different leathers and hand construction techniques,using hand stitching and thinning ( paring) . A range of leathers and fittings are available so students can, not only design bags, but make them also . Students may design and complete a new bag during the course or may prefer to develop ideas and focus on mastering techniques, complete one or more bags after the course finishes.
