Travel Bags

6 day course

This course will focus on high quality Travel Bags. Students will have the choice of making either a Framed Kit Bag or a Holdall style of travel bag. There will be a  range of  leathers, frames and metal-wear  for students to choose from .

Students will be helped to perfect their hand stitching skills and be introduced to different construction options . These will involve paring and edge finishing techniques.

Patterns will be available for students to use but it will be necessary to adapt or create patterns to suit the style of Travel Bag chosen.
A set of bench tools will be provided for each student to use during the course.

This course is only suitable for those with some experience or who have attended at least one of our other courses.

Materials costs are not included in the course fee.
