Bags suspended from metal frames have been in and out of fashion over the years, the very best examples have become classic bags. Finding good quality frames, suitable leathers and framing tools are the key elements.
These courses will cover:
- Principles of framed bag construction/ styles/options
- How to cut patterns for the main body and lining for a chosen frame
- The making of several simple hand stitched framed leather bags using hand framing tools
These courses are not suitable for complete beginners.
